Montana High School Volleyball: Power, Precision, and Passion
Since joining the MHSA lineup in 1985, volleyball has become one of Montana’s most dynamic and widely played girls’ sports. Each fall, high school gyms across the state come alive with the sound of serves, spikes, and the unmistakable energy of teams chasing championship glory.
The season culminates at the All-Class State Volleyball Tournament—an electric three-day event that brings together the top teams from Classes AA, A, B, and C. Hosted at premier venues and overseen by the MHSA Executive Board, the tournament showcases elite athleticism, school spirit, and the dedication of student-athletes who train year-round for a shot at the title.
Programs like Huntley Project, Manhattan Christian, and Helena Capital have built storied legacies, while emerging teams continue to shake up the bracket each year. From nail-biting five-set thrillers to dominant sweeps, MHSA volleyball delivers unforgettable postseason drama and celebrates the talent and teamwork found across Montana’s high schools.
