The 2009 MHSA / MOA Softball Rules Clinics
are now on-line. The clinic should have been viewed prior to March 20,
2009 for MOA Officials, and prior to March 27, 2009 for head coaches
to receive credit.

Girls'
fast pitch softball was sanctioned in 1986 for the first time and it has
grown in numbers at a steady pace since that time. There was one class
the first year through 1991. In 1992, AA and A-B were split into
separate classifications and champions were crowned in each
classification. In 1997 classes A and B were also separated.
In 1999, some class C schools began to participate forming the B-C
classification and now three state tournaments are staged
