MHSA sanctions participation in band, chorus and orchestra. Music festivals are held in twelve districts each spring, followed by State Solo & Ensemble Festivals. The annual All-State Band, Chorus and Orchestra Festival, consisting of Montana’s best musicians and vocalists selected by audition, is held each October.

2010 All-State Festival - Missoula

Missoula is the site for the coming All-State Band, Chorus & Orchestra Festival. The dates are October 20-22, 2010.

April 4, 2011: District 9 (solos & ensembles only/date for large groups TBA)

April 8-9, 2011: Districts 4, 5, 7, 12, 13

April 14-15, 2011: District 6

April 15-16, 2011: Districts 1, 2, 8, 10, 11

May 6-7, 2011: State Solo & Ensemble Festivals:

                       Eastern hosted by Billings Public Schools

                             Western hosted by UM in Missoula

Online Adjudication Clinic
