MHSA sanctions participation in band, chorus and orchestra. Music festivals are held in twelve districts each spring, followed by State Solo & Ensemble Festivals. The annual All-State Band, Chorus and Orchestra Festival, consisting of Montana’s best musicians and vocalists selected by audition, is held each October.

The forms for your festival entries (presented as WORD templates in version 97-2003) are available below. If you cannot use the forms as presented, please contact the MHSA office.

The following forms should be attached to qualifying State Solo & Ensemble entries before they are mailed to the state festival chairs. Be sure that entries are postmarked no later than
Tuesday following your district festival.

2010 All-State Festival - Missoula

Missoula is the site for the coming All-State Band, Chorus & Orchestra Festival. The dates are October 20-22, 2010.

Online Adjudication Clinic

Thanks to all adjudicators who supported the 2010 Festivals. They were a great success!
The Music Adjudication Clinic for adjudicators at the 2011 festivals will be available beginning January 2, 2011.
