MHSA sanctioned golf for boys in 1928 and for girls in 1936. Only individual champions were recognized in those early years. Schools' team scores were not kept until 1956 for boys and 1966 for girls. Separate classifications were not recognized until 1978 when separate boys' and girls' team/individual champions were honored by classification. Currently AA and A play in the fall, B and C play in the spring.

The 2009 Fall Golf Rules Clinic for Class AA and A is now available to be viewed on-line. Click Here and follow the appropriate links to view this clinic.  Class B and C Golf coaches must wait until the spring clinic is release to meet their requirement. The clinic must be viewed prior to August 22, 2009 to receive credit.

REMEMBER- MHSA Rules and Regulations Section (26) states  - Head coaches are required to view the clinic, but all assistant coaches and other personnel are strongly encouraged to view the presentation.
